ChocolatePeanutButter Donuts
Ingredients
For the Donuts:
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Peanut Butter Filling:
• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
For the Chocolate Glaze:
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 2 tbsp heavy cream
Toppings:
• Reese’s Pieces candy
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
2. Make the Donuts –
• Mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
• In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, oil, egg, and vanilla.
• Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients.
3. Bake –
• Pour the batter into the donut molds, filling them about 2/3 full.
• Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
4. Prepare Peanut Butter Filling –
• Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
5. Fill the Donuts –
• Cut the donuts in half and spread a layer of peanut butter mixture.
6. Make the Chocolate Glaze –
• Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
7. Decorate –
• Dip the donuts in chocolate glaze and top with Reese’s Pieces candy.
