Ingredients


For the Chicken Patties:


500g ground chicken

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce


For Assembly:

4 burger buns

4 slices of cheddar or mozzarella cheese

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Onion rings

Mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard



Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken Patties:


In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.

•   Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties.

2. Cook the Patties:

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly oil the surface.

Cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).

3. Melt the Cheese:

Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last 1–2 minutes of cooking and cover the pan to melt the cheese.

4. Assemble the Burger:

Toast the burger buns lightly.

Spread mayonnaise or your preferred sauce on the bottom bun.

Add lettuce, tomato slices, and onion rings.

Place the cheesy chicken patty on top and add more sauce if desired.

Close with the top bun.

5. Serve:

Serve with fries, coleslaw, or a side salad.
