Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 200g of celery, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 100g of mushrooms, sliced
  • 200g of diced tomatoes
  • 50ml of beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 100g of grated cheese for topping
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a cooking pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is soft.
  • Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Stir in the chopped celery, sliced mushrooms, diced tomatoes, beef broth, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the mixture has thickened slightly.
  • Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Top with grated cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
